All,

Are you/your chapter interested in receiving individual donations from payroll deductions made by those Corporate America offices in your county that have annual United Way campaigns? If so, please reply to this message and BETF would be willing to partner with you on efforts to get your programs & services included in the United Way campaign for the primary county in which your chapter operates.

We can work this issue with multiple chapters at one time. Is your chapter interested?

Sheila Marionneaux makes payroll deductions via United Way of Metro Chicago.  These donations support programs in greater Chicago area.

Jeanette Wiggins and Jacki Davis make payroll deductions via Bank of America United Way Campaign.  These donations support programs in Rhode Island (Jeanette) and Richmond (Jacki).

BETF appreciates Sheila, Jeanette and Jacki!

We are blessed to receive donations via United Way payroll deductions from three members of the Deloitte team -- Jonica Cowan, Larry Quinlan and Hayward West.

Jonica's contribution supports BDPA Middle Tennessee chapter.

Hayward's contribution supports BDPA Philadelphia chapter.

Larry's contribution is split evenly between BETF Endowment Fund and BDPA Middle Tennessee chapter.

BETF appreciates the generosity of these 3 BDPA members.

BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) would love to see all of our members that work in Corporate America taking advantage of payroll deductions to support our efforts.   As such we were pleased to see that Tonji Zimmerman (University of Michigan) made payroll deduction donations via the United Way of Washtenaw County in support of the programs and services offered by BDPA Detroit chapter.

Our hope is that Tonji's selfless actions will be replicated by others.

BETF is aggressively pursuing relationships with United Way offices around the nation.

In your chapter city we want to explore grant opportunities with United Way. Our efforts are only able to move forward with active support and partnership with you/your chapter. Please take a moment to review the United Way website and let me know if you/your chapter would like to pursue this funding opportunity for 2010 and beyond.

We are very grateful to four (4) members of the Eli Lilly team -- Timothy Coleman, Dr. Marlene Griffin-Bunnell, Robin Leslie, Shondria Seaton -- and one anonymous donor who made payroll pledges to support BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) through the United Way of Central Indiana.

Our hope is that more BDPA supporters will take advantage of payroll deductions as a way to help us fund BDPA programs, scholarships and services.

Please feel free to reply to this post if you have questions or wish to discuss the idea further !

Asante sana to Danna Sturdivant (Boston) for her payroll pledge via United Way of Massachusetts Bay and Merrimack Valley.    Her 2010 pledge is being applied to the Jesse Bemley Scholarship Fund.

BETF continues to process payroll deductions via United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg.   These funds come in quarterly and benefit the SITES program put together each year by BDPA Richmond chapter.

Is your chapter taking advantage of payroll pledges from its members?    Feel free to reply to this post if you want more information on how to get this done!

BETF is grateful to Deloitte employees Jonica Cowan (Middle Tennessee), Larry Quinlan (Atlanta) and Hayward West (Philadelphia).    These 3 employees continue to use payroll deductions thru Truist as a way to give regularly to BDPA Education and Technology Foundation.

The donations from these 3 Deloitte associates supports BETF Endowment Fund, BDPA Middle Tennessee Chapter Fund and BDPA Philadelphia Chapter Fund.

Do you know anyone who works at Deloitte?  If so, see if they would be willing to follow the philanthropic example set by Jonica, Larry and Hayward!

BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) is very happy to let you know that we've received our first donation from the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. The donation came as a result of a payroll pledge made by Derek MacCallum (Bank of America).

Our hope is that other Bank of America employees in the metro Dallas area (and beyond!) will join Derek by making payroll pledges of their own in the coming weeks and months.
We are very grateful to two members of the Eli Lilly team -- Timothy Coleman and George Whitfield -- who made payroll pledges to support BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) through the United Way of Central Indiana.

Our hope is that more BDPA supporters will take advantage of payroll deductions as a way to help us fund BDPA programs, scholarships and services.
