Description:

2010 BDPA New Jersey Annual Awards &

Scholarship Banquet

The Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA), New Jersey Chapter is a nonprofit, 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, which was organized to contribute to the development of professionals in the Information Technology industry and to extend this knowledge and experience to others in their respective communities.

The New Jersey BDPA Chapter is committed to delivering IT excellence to our members, strategic partners, students, and community. We strive to be one of New Jersey's more prominent professional organizations. BDPA New Jersey is celebrating the successes of 2010 by hosting its Annual Awards & Scholarship Banquet. The purpose of the celebration is to recognize sponsors and individuals who have dedicated their time and resources to BDPA programs and services. The theme of this event is "A Stronger Foundation Paving the Way to the Future"

We are excited to have as our Master of Ceremony, Jose Ocasio.  Healthy fun is almost guaranteed when Mr. Ocasio is involved.  As a Director of Product Development, his engineering degree comes in handy.  However, his refreshing outlook of business & technology is what's impressive.   Our keynote address will be given by the Chapter's Immediate Past President and current National BDPA CIO,  Donald E. Brown.  A man that always delivers sincerity, inspiration and motivation!

We invite you to join us for this festive event on Friday November  12, 2010 from 6 - 10PM at Prudential's Dryden Hall located on the 7th Floor at 751 Broad Street Newark, NJ 07102.

(Please note: This event is a BDPA function and NOT a Prudential Corporate Event).

The success of our chapter requires your support. As a BDPA supporter you will be able to make this day and our future programs memorable. In addition, you would be helping us close the digital divide which still exists in many urban communities. Your contribution is more than a charitable donation. It is an opportunity to build a relationship with future employees, clients and customers. It is an investment in tomorrow.
