BDPA Baton Rouge recognizes Black Family Technology Awareness Week (BFTAW)

The Baton Rouge Chapter of the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) will host a day of events in recognition of the 2012 Black Family Technology Awareness Week. BFTAW is a national public awareness campaign designed to encourage more African Americans to incorporate technology into their daily lives.

BDPA Baton Rouge addresses the impact of technology for the family and the community & introduces the use of the Internet to improve their future and quality of life. It will be a day of exposing students, families and the community to technology with a community event. The theme is "Applying Technology to Your Family's Quality of Life."
The events will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 in room 218 of J. B. Moore Hall on Southern University's Campus in Baton Rouge, LA. The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
