BDPA and Per Scholas Announce Strategic Partnership

The opportunities for success with the underserved minority community in Cincinnati just received a boost as the Cincinnati branches of Per Scholas and BDPA joined forces to help train the next generation of IT professionals.

Wayne Ivy, associate director, Per Scholas and Dalric Webb, president, BDPA Cincinnati, announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two organizations. The strategic alliance connects the two organizations in effort to advance the careers of technology professionals in the greater Cincinnati region.

Per Scholas, a national IT training nonprofit with offices in Cincinnati, Columbus, New York and National Capital region, offers free, high quality technology education, job training, placement and career development opportunities to people in underserved communities. BDPA seeks to advance the careers of African Americans in the IT industry from the classroom to the boardroom. Both organizations want to encourage unemployed and under-employed adults interested in a technology career.

BDPA is proud to partner with Per Scholas,” said Webb. “BDPA endeavors to strengthen and develop more strategic partnerships within the community to empower individuals with greater opportunities for success, networking, employment and training.”
