Application Developer opportunity w/ The American Dental Assoc._CHICAGO

This position's main responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the analysis and development of programs to meet the business requirements related to various ADA Divisions including Membership, Publishing and Education and all interfaces to core Membership, Financial and Employee systems. Incumbent will be responsible for defining business and technical requirements, technical design, user acceptance and support documentation, workflow updates and template updates. Focus will be on Aptify and SQL Server Development. Position will provide written technical documentation of existing Aptify configurations, as well as new configurations under development. Work closely with ADA Divisions to develop streamlined applications using the Aptify Developers Toolset.

Position Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of technical training (on-the-job and/or classroom).
•Programming/systems analysis and relational database experience.
•Proven ability to understand and write complex SQL language queries.
•Work in a team environment and to interface with and support system users.
•Demonstrated leadership skills in areas of analysis, design and development.
•Skills in areas of analysis, design and configuration (using Aptify preferred).
•Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, written/oral communications skills.

Highly Desirable Skills Include: Experience developing applications using Aptify e-business, XML technologies and Microsoft Visual Basic. Understanding of Microsoft Office tools; experience in a Microsoft SQL environment. Experience coding and maintaining Crystal Reports
