HISPI & SDNx Sign MOU: Bridging Cyber Diversity Divide in India

Space Development Nexus (SDNx) is proud to announce the signing of an MOU with the Holistic Information Security Practitioner Institute (HISPI), to collaborate on cybersecurity seminars and workshops in India and Nepal, to develop comprehensive and holistic information security awareness among India's students about career opportunities in information security and enhance their education background.

Cybersecurity has been identified as one of the most serious economic and national challenges facing India, and the rest of the World. India's Ministry of Home Affairs has mandated that 37,500 law enforcement officers receive training to deal with digital crimes.

The challenge is exacerbated due to the lack of a "pipeline of security talent" combined with ever-expanding cybercrime.

HISPI, an independent training, education and certification organization based in the US, promotes a holistic approach to Cybersecurity - People, Process and Technology.

A HISP certification effectively blends technology, processes and people to meet business goals, the professional is often considered to be a hybrid Information Security professional with a balance of technical and business skills.

"The MOU with HISPI allows SDNx to extend our education workshops and skills development programs to empower India's youth and help the Nation build a sustainable and inclusive economic engine.", states Sanjay Rathee, Founder of SDNx.

The Holistic Information Security Practitioner (HISP) Institute (HISPI) is an independent training, education and certification 501(c)(3) NonProfit organization promoting a holistic approach to Cybersecurity - People, Process and Technology - www.hispi.org. This approach reduces the cost of meeting legal, regulatory and contractual requirements pertaining to information security, across various sectors through the Implement Once Comply Many (IOCM) philosophy.

One way is to walk away from commercial software and start embracing open source.

Linux OS
Libre/Open Office

all are free and compete very well against commercial equivalents.
