The BDPA Internet Radio Show initiative supports the goal of BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) to raise funds in support of BDPA programs and services. Our target audience is members, sponsors, IT entrepreneurs and the Black community.

Goal: The Internet Radio Show initiative supports the goal of BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) to raise funds in support of BDPA programs and services. This initiative also supports BDPA goal to build membership by delivering effective programs and services to attract and retain its stakeholders (members, sponsors, IT entrepreneurs, our community and educational institutions).

Objective: To further market the BDPA name by creating a vibrant communications platform that speaks to all BDPA stakeholders.

Show Description: A bi-weekly interview Q & A radio show that listeners can download in MP3 format or stream as audio from the Internet. Interview times will be approximately 8-10 minutes per guest with 1-2 guests per show.   We plan to air the show on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 8:00pm EST.

Target Audience: The target audience will be donors, members, sponsors and entrepreneurs. We are uncertain about the size of the audience or how it will be measured. We can determine the metrics for audience size once we determine the platform that will be used.

Expected Benefits: The Internet Radio Show will help highlight BDPA initiatives, including regional and national conferences as well as deliver insight into the thoughts and opinions of IT thought leaders.
