BETF is happy to announce that Tramale Turner will be a guest on the January 12th episode of BDPA iRadio Show.

Tramale Turner is a senior IT professional with Nintendo in the Seattle area. 25 years ago he was a member of the 1991 National BDPA High School Computer Competition (HSCC) championship team trained by BDPA Detroit. His team traveled to New York to compete in the HSCC championship. We seek to honor his BDPA legacy by talking with him about his HSCC memories as well as his thoughts on BDPA.

Tramale and his wife recently decided to become entrepreneur's as they purchased Poco Wine & Spirits - www.capitolhillseattle.com/2015/10/capitol-hill-fooddrink-a-new-start-at-poco/.

Tramale epitomizes the BDPA mantra of advancing careers of African Americans in the IT industry from the classroom to the boardroom. BDPA iRadio Show listeners will enjoy hearing his story.

BDPA Education and Technology Foundation (BETF) cheerfully announces that ExecSpeak Dictionary founder Carol Heiberger will be our guest on the January 12th episode of the BDPA iRadio Show.

Carol Heiberger is the creator of ExecuSpeak Dictionary, an initiative dedicated to everyone who has every been frustrated or confused by the language of business. The e-book, "Business is Another Language", concentrates on how business people learn the complex and necessary "subject-specific" language (jargon/slang) of business.

"Business is Another Language" is the focus of an upcoming virtual book tour planned for January 11-15, to coincide with New Year's resolutions.  The books and services shared on this virtual book tour are the result of Carol's career experience; including, an MBA from Wharton and leadership positions with large multi-nationals, consulting projects with large and small businesses, and teaching MBA students, executives and adults.

She enjoys sharing her knowledge with audiences and your listeners will be offered a free copy of the e-book.   Our BDPA iRadio audience will find this of specific interest for the work they continue to do in IT, human resources, management, and leadership.

BETF merrily announces that Andreaus Robinson will be our guest on the January 12th episode of the BDPA iRadio Show.

Today, we would like to introduce you to a national champion and Jesse Bemley Scholar. Andreaus Robinson and his teammates, trained by BDPA Chicago chapter, won the national championship in 2006. Andreaus also earned a bronze medal for his efforts at the national high school computer competition (HSCC) held in 2007. Soon we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the HSCC championship that in won in Los Angeles at the 2006 national conference.

Andreaus had a number of internships while he was in BDPA, including with Allstate, Siemens and his dad's architectural company. His professional career provided him with work as a developer & architect. His core responsibilities include designing distributed cloud architecture and developing the technical foundation for the enterprise. Andreaus has great leadership and motivator skills. He is a team player often called on to mentor and issue tasks to junior developers.

He attended the University of Illinois and he is now living in Los Angeles. Our BDPA iRadio Show audience will enjoy his reflections on his BDPA experiences and how they have helped him in his college and career choices over the past 10 years.
