BETF is pleased to announce that Vanessa Anderson will be our guest on the March 8th episode of the BDPA iRadio Show.

Vanessa Anderson is a software developer engineer for Time, Inc. She graduated with a computer engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She learned about BDPA a few years ago when her former employer, Teach For America, attended a national conference to recruit talent. She stay engaged for the past few years as one of the lead instructors for the High School Computer Competition team trained by BDPA New York chapter.

Last year, she decided to show her skills to her students by participating in the 2nd Annual BDPA Hackathon. She came. She saw. She conquered. She won the gold medal and a $1,000 grand prize for her participation in the Hackathon. Our BDPA iRadio Audience would like to hear about her BDPA journey as well as her thoughts about the HSCC program that operates in all of the local chapters around the nation.

Finally, we want to know if she plans to come back to the 38th annual National BDPA Technology Conference in Atlanta GA on August 10-13, 2016 to defend her title as the BDPA Hackathon champion!

BETF gratefully announces that Morgan Collingwood will be our guest on the March 8th episode of the BDPA iRadio Show.

Morgan Collingwood is a senior at Bloomfield College majoring in computer information systems. He recently had his college student membership sponsored by GE. He came to the 2015 National BDPA Technology Conference and was interviewed by the folks at Johnson & Johnson. Our understanding is that he is being offered a position in the JnJ Information Technology Leadership Development Program. BDPA often talks about the positive way that it can help our young people advance their careers from the 'classroom to the boardroom'. Here is yet another example of that success track in operation.

Our BDPA iRadio Show audience will enjoy hearing about Morgan's experience with BDPA over the past year or so.
